Installing a 3D animation program (Blender) in Ubuntu melamine | Stefan Arhip
Having shown how to install Blender Windows application in a previous article, I will show how you can achieve the same operating melamine system Ubuntu 10.04. Blender melamine 3D is a free 3D graphics. It can be used for creating 3D models, UV mapping, texturing, rigging (animation by using the "bones"), water simulation, animation, rendering, particle and other simulations computerized non-linear editing, compositing, and creating interactive 3D applications. Blender is available for several operating systems, including FreeBSD, IRIX, GNU / Linux, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Solaris, SkyOS, and MorphOS. Blender has a variety of functions similar in scope and complexity that other 3D programs like Softimage | XSI, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Lightwave and Maya. These features include advanced simulation melamine tools such as rigid body, fluid, cloth and softbody dynamics, powerful tools for character animation, node-based materials ins and Python scripts.
